In Social Studies, we'll learn about the history of the United States of America. We'll start by reviewing briefly the regions of the US. Next we'll move into the colonial times, the Revolutionary War, the new country beginning, growing, and changing, the Civil War, and our relations to the world. We'll learn about important people in our country's history, as well as how our government in Nebraska works. Part of our field trip will be related to social studies, in that we'll get to tour the State Capital building in Lincoln, NE. |
